Remembering Đula Tešenji (Gyula Tessenyi)
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the death of my violin teacher Đula Tešenji (Gyula Tessenyi) (1930-2006), one of Belgrade's most influential violin teachers, I will perform on May 22, 2026, at the National Museum of Serbia in Belgrade, together with several of his former students and the Zemun Chamber Orchestra. Professor Tešenji was a profound expert in violin pedagogy and a passionate chamber musician, fluent in several languages, who had a lasting impact on generations of violinists.
